Why is it that the same groups of people to complain about how the current administration, in a post-9/11 world, have be stomping on our liberties are the same groups that have no bones about infringing on our right to keep and bear arms? "Bush and Ashcroft have stolen our rights. By the way, you shouldn't have a gun."
In my neighborhood I often see children who are driven to the school bus stop. Maybe that's why gas is $2.02 a gallon. Get rid of busing, drive the kid to school, or make the kid walk. Pick one.
Speaking of gas, the high price has to be Bush's fault. The same people who blame Bush for being able to manipulate the world economy in such a way that only his buddies in big business benefit are the same people who say he is a dullard.
Abuse and humiliation are different things. As a high school and college student I was often humiliated by doing stupid things or having jokes played on me. I was never beaten, that would be abuse.
Of course, prisoner [mis]treatment is [insert name here, like Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld]'s fault. American bodies being dragged through Mogadishu was Clinton's fault. Burning down a building in Waco where 76 people died was Reno's fault. The failed mission to rescue the hostages was Carter's fault. Of course, in all but one of these actions people died - Americans - but guess who the liberals want to resign? Hmmm. No double standard there, is there?
I hear announcements on the radio about "Click it or Ticket." Government should stop wasting resources trying to protect us from ourselves. They preach safety and use it as a means to harass the citizenry but then they lollygag when it comes to executing convicted murders who sit on death row and burn up our tax dollars. A thug can murder someone and not be properly punished but if you don't wear your seat belt you will be forced to pay a fine and face an increased insurance premium.
