June 14, 2006 - A popular bumper sticker I see sometimes says "They hate us for our President." Of course when I saw that I could tell the bumper sticker was put on that car after January 20, 2001. I find, by the way, that bumper stickers are contagious, rarely do you see just one on a car; just like this car had.

Anyway, I thought about it and without even throwing in the fact that "they" have been "hating" us since long before January 20, 2001, I felt a more appropriate way to phrase that bumper sticker is: "They hate us because I can put a bumper sticker on my car that says 'they hate us for our President.'"

I think a lot of people need a history refresher. History did not start on January 20, 2001.
